The Brainwave Staff is a pre-Hardmode summon weapon that summons a Brain Cauliflower minion. It attacks by charging a large wave of demonic energy which fires at the enemy.
While it deals a similar amount of flat damage as the Corrupt Pot, it attacks much slower, providing an overall less amount of DPS on single targets; however its wave can deal damage to multiple targets at once, making it much more useful for handling multiple enemies.
It has about a 50% chance to instantly convert tier 2 enemies with less than 1000 health into ghost minions.
