The Infested Brain is a craftable Hardmode accessory, created by combining the Worm Scarf and Brain of Confusion using Evil DNA. It has the effects of both items, providing a 12% damage reduction (note that this is reduced from the Worm Scarf's 17%), a chance to confuse nearby enemies for a short time when struck, and a chance to dodge attacks and receive 10% extra critical strike chance for a short time.
