The Rot Knuckles are a craftable Hardmode accessory, created by combining the Putrid Scent and Flesh Knuckles using Evil DNA. The two items' opposing aggro effects cancel out, leaving it with only the Putrid Scent's damage boost and the Flesh Knuckles' defense; while no longer useful for tanking or stealth purposes like its components, the buffs it's left with are much more universally applicable, making for perhaps a more useful item overall.
