The Feral Fang is a Pre-Hardmode accessory dropped by the Gigabat's Treasure Bag in Expert Mode. When equipped, it afflicts the player with Feral Bite, but also provides immunity to the other debuffs caused by it: Darkness, Cursed, Confused, Slow, Weak, and Silenced. In addition to effectively removing Feral Bite's debuff effect and only leaving the player with its increased damage and lowered life regeneration, this also nullifies any instances of these debuffs caused by other enemies, making for an effective protection item comparable to the Ankh Shield in many ways and obtainable much earlier and easier. However, it also decreases the player's damage by 8%, resulting in only a 12% increase as opposed to Feral Bite's base boost of 20%.
