SFX Buttons are a group of miscellaneous Pre-Hardmode Clicker items that can be purchased from the Party Girl, with the moon phase determining the type sold. There are a total of 8 different SFX Buttons.
When carried in the player's inventory, the SFX Button will replace the standard clicker use sound with another sound effect, based on the type of SFX Button carried. Holding multiple of the same type of SFX Button will increase its volume, up to a maximum of 5 of the same SFX Button; any further will have no effect. Holding multiple different SFX Buttons will play one of the available options at random.
All 8 SFX Button types can be combined at a Tinkerer's Workshop to craft the SFX Soundboard.

Trivia
- This set of items are based on the Attack FX Badges from the Paper Mario series, which also replaces the player's sound effects when attacking.
- The ability to stack multiple of the same SFX Button to increase the sound effect's volume is a reference to the Trumpet Stamp from the game HoloCure - Save the Fans!.
- Additionally, the SFX Button A playing a trumpet sound is a reference to the Trumpet Stamp.
