Weapons (Kryuger Collision)

Kryuger Collision adds a bunch of new Weapons to Terraria. Most of the mod's weapons subside in the Ranged weapons category, but there are weapons hailing from the other classes as well (Melee, Magic, Summon).

Melee weapons

Swords

Swords are melee weapons which can be divided into 2 basic categories: shortswords and broadswords. Shortswords have very limited range, and they attack with a horizontal stabbing motion instead of an arc.

Yoyos

Yoyos are melee weapons that are flail-like, and when thrown, seek after the player's cursor.

Spears

Spears are melee weapons that have a longer range than most swords, but attack with a stabbing motion. Spears also can hit targets more than once, making them especially useful for dealing with large enemies.

Boomerangs

Boomerangs are melee weapons that come back to the player after being thrown. Together with Yoyos, they provide the earliest distance attacks that benefit from melee bonuses.

Flails

Flails are melee weapons that consist of an object linked to the player by a chain, which can either be thrown or fired. Thrown flails can be suspended around the player indefinitely, whereas launched flails immediately return to the player.

Bows

Bows are ranged weapons that fire arrows as ammunition. Repeaters are similar, firing the same type of ammunition, but are not available in Pre-Hardmode.

Handguns

Handguns are a type of gun, a type of ranged weapon that use bullets as ammo. Handguns rarely have autofire, but are very fast in use time usually.

SMGs

Sub-machine guns (SMGs) are a type of gun, a type of ranged weapon that use bullets as ammo. SMGs are not as fast as most machine guns, but a good amount of them have unique properties.

Assault Rifles

Assault rifles are a type of gun, a type of ranged weapon that use bullets as ammo. Assault rifles behave most similarly to the Clockwork Assault Rifle.

Rifles

Rifles are a type of gun, a type of ranged weapon that use bullets as ammo. Rifles are usually very slow but have high damage to compensate. Most rifles will have scope mechanisms like that of the Sniper Rifle.

Machine guns are a type of gun, a type of ranged weapon that use bullets as ammo. They are unprecedented in fire rate, but most are quite inaccurate. Some machine guns have a chance to not consume ammo.

Shotguns

Shotguns are a type of gun, a type of ranged weapon that use bullets as ammo. They fires spreads of multiple bullets at once, but are usually the slowest out of all the gun types. Each spread usually consumes only one unit of ammunition.

Launchers

Launchers are a type of ranged weapon that uses rockets as ammo. They usually have a slow fire rate but make up for it with high explosive damage shots. Beware of the type of ammo you use as some ammo types are capable of breaking blocks.

Summoning weapons

As the name implies, these weapons summon minions or sentries to fight for you instead of dealing damage themselves.

Sentry-summoning weapons

These weapons summon sentries to attack enemies. Sentries are stationary turrets that automatically attack enemies in range, and can only exist for a limited amount of time.

Whips

Whips are summon weapons that can be swung in front of players, and apply damage-boosting effects when striking an enemy. Although dealing summon damage, they can receive the effect of melee speed bonuses and flasks.
