Thunder is a Hardmode Handgun. Thunder is dropped by Angry Nimbuses with a 4*1/25 (4%) chance while having the Rescue Fairy Charm in the player's inventory after all three Mechanical Bosses are defeated.

Shots fired by this weapon are converted into Thunderbird Bullets which electrify enemies on hit. The bullets themselves zap nearby enemies similar to the Magnet Sphere.

Its best modifier is Unreal.

Notes

• Thunderbird Bullets fire projectiles at a rate equal to a use time of 5 (5.5 rounded down).
• Like homing weapons, Thunderbird Bullets don't fire at nearby players during PvP, even though the bullet itself still damages them.
• As its Thunderbird Bullets behaves like the Magnet Sphere, it will fire on disguised mimics.
