Python is a Hardmode, post-Plantera Handgun. Python is dropped by Flying Snakes with a chance of 1.67*1/60 (1.67%) while having the Rescue Fairy Charm in the player's inventory. Python can autofire without any accuracy issues, but will reduce the velocity of its bullets from 11 to 5.5, which is only slightly higher than that of the Flintlock Pistol and Boomstick.

Its best modifier is Unreal.
