The Obsidian Rose Staff is a Hardmode Wand that can be bought from the Wizard for 11133 if the player has a Negev in their inventory. It fires a petal that upon impact, splits into five flames that go in the opposite direction the petal went. The petal and the flames it splits into may inflict On Fire!, Frostburn, or Shadowflame.

Its best modifier is Mythical.

• This weapon is a reference to the Obsidian Princess costume able to be worn by Negev.
• The tooltip flavor text references American anime-styled cartoon RWBY. The tooltip is from a line from Ruby Rose's main theme Red Like Roses.
• The weapon's projectiles are intentionally made to resemble the behavior of the Shotgun Ice from Mega Man X, since the flames the petal projectile splits into are spread out similarly to the projectiles the Shotgun Ice makes upon the impact of its initial giant ice shard projectile.
