The Arid Arondight is a Hardmode sword. It is sold by the Wizard if the player has a NTW-20 in their inventory. Upon swing, a fireball projectile affected heavily by gravity like the Chlorophyte Claymore's Chlorophyte Orb is launched that bursts into little embers that crawl across flat surfaces and slopes like Boulders. Both the fireball projectiles and its spawned flames inflict On Fire!/Thermite Burst.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

Trivia

  • The weapon is based on the sword wielded by NTW-20 from Girls' Frontline in one of her costumes, Black Iron Heart, seen during her victory animation when wearing it during combat.
  • The tooltip "You'll get no sympathy from me" references Ike, the main protagonist of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and deuteragonist of Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. The tooltip's quote originates from Super Smash Bros. Brawl from the aforementioned character. Ike's main weapon, Ragnell has a sister sword named Alondite, indirectly named after the legendary sword Arondight wielded by Lancelot of the Matter of Britain, in which part of this weapon's name is taken from.
  • The embers spawned by the fireball, each named Molten Iron Ember via death messages, has behavior intended to resemble the Bubble Lead and Search Snake, weapons from Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 3 respectively.
