The Sky Merchant is an non-town NPC vendor that spawns randomly in Space during a Windy Day event, however due to his movement, he can fly down to the Surface, this is most common on small worlds however.

The Sky Merchant's "Rename" option allows you to change the name of items, and has a unique interaction with the Name Tag, allowing it to append its item name to an enemy, critter or town NPC.

They sell many random and unique items similarly to the Traveling Merchant, including the Pumpinator, which allows you to start and end a Windy Day at any time.

Banners	20 (More specifically, x10 the price of the banner item, however all banners sell for 2.)	Banner chosen depends on banners you have obtained, so if you have killed 50 Zombies, it is allowed to roll the Zombie Banner as an option when spawning. Having no banners prevents the Sky Merchant from selling this item.	"Trophies and rugs are a bit... brutish for my tastes. How about a more symbolic representation of mass slaughter?"
Equipped Accessory	450% the sell price of the item chosen	Chooses a random accessory you have currently equipped, and re-sells it with either Menacing, Warding, or Lucky as the item's prefix. It will not choose the prefix it already has on it. Wearing no accessories when opening the Sky Merchant's shop prevents it from choosing an Accessory to re-sell. Notice: It cannot select items from modded accessory slots, and in multiplayer, the item sold is different for each player.
