The Polar Pickaxe is a Hardmode pickaxe crafted from materials dropped by The Polarities. It has the highest pickaxe power and range of any pickaxe in vanilla Terraria obtained at the point in the game at which it is available (except the Laser Drill, which requires significantly more effort to obtain as a non-guaranteed drop from an event boss). Additionally, while held, the player's item grab range is greatly increased.

Its best modifier is Legendary. While Light seems to have a better speed boost via percentage, both mine at equal speeds due to rounding.
