Maws is a Pre-Hardmode book that is purchased from the Ghostwriter for 5 after the Storm Cloudfish is defeated. When used, it causes a constant stream of rain to fall onto the player from above, lightly damaging any enemies hit by it. The rain will collide with any blocks in its path, making using it indoors or underground difficult.
