Mantellar Ore is a Hardmode ore that begins to spawn in the Lava Ocean once the Convective Wanderer is defeated and is also dropped by it. Touching it will afflict the player with the Incinerating debuff which deals rapid damage similarly to Hellstone's Burning effect, but much faster and even if the player is wearing the Obsidian Skull or one of its derivative accessories. It requires at least a Drax or Pickaxe Axe to mine.

Concerning Journey Mode: The research value of Mantellar Ore is currently bugged, and cannot be researched.
