The Surged Granite Core is an enemy that spawns uncommonly in granite Caves once the Eye of Cthulhu has been defeated. They slowly float through tiles until they have a line of sight of the player, then they slowly fly towards them. Once they've had a direct line of sight of the player for a few seconds they will freeze in place for a second and fire a granite bolt at the player.

Notes

• The Surged Granite Core's ranged attack can be halted by losing a line of sight.
• Only one can spawn at a time, and they can be detected by the lifeform analyzer.
• The very center core of the Surged Granite Core glows in the dark, making them easy to spot.

Trivia

• The Granite Core they drop strongly resembles a smaller version of the enemy.
