Bosses (Storm's Additions Mod)
Storm's Additions Mod adds 3 bosses to the game.
Ancient Husk
|
   The Ancient Husk is a boss with with 10,000/ 14,000 / 18,000 health. It is summoned with the Cracked Horn while in a desert. It has several different attacks, it can fire hot sand blasts the the player, fire an even spread of ancient shards, and summon Ancient Spirits which will make the boss immune to damage until they are defeated. Below 50% health it will transition into its second phase where it retains all attacks from the first phase just with a faster firing speed, but gains new attacks such as a flamethrower and being able to summon falling sand from the sky. It drops a bunch of desert themed weapons and a set of armour that looks similar to the boss. Its expert accessory creates and aura around the cursor that makes enemies within it take more damage.

Overloaded Scandrone

   The Overloaded Scandrone is a boss with with 40,000/ 60,000 / 84,000 health. It is summoned with the Storm Beacon once all 3 mechanical boses have been defeated. It attacks with a range of different projectiles; it uses scandrone bolts, bombs, mines, lightning portals, firing lightning directly and can dash into the player to damage them. It reaches phase 2 when below 50% life, where all of its attacks speed up, and it gains a new dash attack aswell as being able to summon lightning portals directly above the player. On expert and master it reaches final phase below 10% life, where it stops using all its other attacks and instead tries to ram the player while summoning lightning portals. It drops a bunch of weapons that function similarly to some of the boss's attacks, as well as some equipment and wings. Its expert accessory allows the player to place a portal that continuously fires out lightning bolts. It can be fought in place of the Plantera if the config option is enabled, and defeating it triggers everything that defeating the Plantera did, and it also drops the Temple key. |
The Painbringer

   The Painbringer is a secret post Moon Lord boss with with 300,000/ 450,000 / 630,000 health. It is summoned with the Mysterious Skull. It cycles through many different attacks, which consist of skulls of judgement being summoned in various ways, and it gains new attacks as it loses health. It has a total of 5 phases, falling to phase 2 and 70% life, phase 3 at 40%, and phase 4 at 10%. For the fourth phase it summons 4 Shattered Crystal of Pain that orbit it and attack the player, while the boss itself stops attacking and become invincible. It transitions into its final phase once all the crystals have been destroyed, where it uses one last ditch attack at the player, while keeping its distance away from them. It drops a single weapon on death, which summons smaller versions of its skulls in various patterns. Its expert accessory saves the player from death once every 2 minutes. |
