The Polus Communicator is a pet summoning item sold by the Jungle Tyrant. It summons a Stratus Astronaut to follow the player. If the player uses the item outside of April, the pet will enrage, firing barrages of projectiles at the player for 2 minutes then calming down, allowing it to be used safely. Wearing the Stone Pile causes the event to last for as long as the player wears it. If the pet is equipped during the Meldosaurus fight, it will attack the boss with guns, knife charges, and rain clouds.
