• The pet was added due to worm pets being hard to code during its time of implementation. Since then, a more proper Eidolon Wyrm pet has been implemented in the form of the Soul Shard.
• The item's name is a reference to the phrase "Can of worms", also referenced by a vanilla item of the same name.
