The Jungle Tyrant is a NPC vendor that only appears during the April Fools event. He can be summoned by using the Jungle Tyrant Jharim's Decapitated Head. After summoning him, he will attempt to move into a vacant house if available. The Jungle Tyrant only has one possible name, Jharim. He only sells one item and serves as a way to access most April Fools content.

The Jungle Tyrant will defend himself by firing a Laser from the center of his body.

    • The Jungle Tyrant only appears on April Fools day, although moves in permanently when Calamity's Vanities+ is used.
    • When summoning the Meldosaurus the Jungle Tyrant will say the following quotes:
      • "GRAHGAHGAH WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!"
      • "IT IS GOING TO WAKE UP HELPHELPHELP"
      • "ORULQDORULQDORULQDORULQD"
    • If both the Brimstone Witch and the Jungle Tyrant are present, the Brimstone Witch will start rapidly firing Brimstone Hellblasts at the Jungle Tyrant. When the Jungle Tyrant is about to die, he will fire a large laser at the Brimstone Witch which instantly kills her.
      • This interaction only happens once per world.

    Trivia

    • The BestiaryBestiary entry for the Jungle Tyrant: "A bumbling idiot."
    • The Jungle Tyrant serves as a way to summon Fogbound, one of the joke bosses added in the mod.
      • This can be done by clicking the Summon button after defeating both Supreme Witch, Calamitas and the Exo Mechs during April Fools event.
        • If the conditions are not met, he will say "The time is not here yet. He will only appear after both the supreme witch and the mechanical abominations have been silenced."
    • The Jungle Tyrant also serves as a way to summon the Meldosaurus.
      • This can be done by hitting him with the God's Bellows.
      • The quote "These pillars are spookay, and those dark globs some of their friends drop are... I don't want to touch any... especially if its on fire, so please don't shoot me with any fiery weapons made of that stuff." is a reference to this.
    • The Jungle Tyrant is a reference to the Calamity Paint series, created by "Some Hive Mind Thing".
      • Many of his quotes also reference to this, specificity repeating "Hyuck"
    • The quote "HYuHck HYuHck HYuHck. Why am I spelling like this?" is a reference to the mod's owner, YuH.
    • The quote "Hyuck Hyuck Hyuck, Jharim the Great orders you to get fish for me! ... what do you mean you don't want to!?" is a reference to the Angler.
    • The quote "ORULQDORULQDORULQDORULQD" is the name "Lorina" put in a caesar cipher then repeated many times.
    • Originally the way the Jungle Tyrant's Laser would have been summoned was through a gun that the Jungle Tyrant would have used.
