The Pineapple is a Hardmode material that has a chance of dropping from any enemy in the Jungle biome, with increased drop chance & amount from bosses. It is also dropped by the Mantis, with an increased drop chance & amount after defeating Plantera.

Plantera has a 50% / 100% chance of dropping Pineapples regardless of biome.

Notes

While bosses have seperate drop conditions to regular enemies, only Plantera will drop Pineapples in a treasure bag if in Expert Mode or above.
The drop chance from bosses (excluding Plantera) does NOT scale with Expert Mode.
- Similarly, the drop chance from Plantera does NOT scale with Master Mode.
