The Backpack is a Pre-Hardmode bag that can be purchased from the Noob Bear after defeating either the Eater of Worlds or Brain of Cthulhu. It is the first bag to increase the maximum number of active bees the player can have.

It has a base pollen capacity of 3,500, and grants the following stat bonus when equipped:
