The Astralpod Staff is a craftable hardmode Minion. When used, it summons a main Astralpod minion that shoots lasers, and occasionally a small deathray. Every additional Astralpod summoned will orbit the main Astralpod. The orbiting Astralpods will not fire deathrays, but each one will increase the size of the main Astralpod's deathray.
Its best modifier is Ruthless.
