Eater of Worlds is an NPC vendor that will spawn once the following criteria have been met:

• There is an empty house.
• Eater of Worlds has been defeated.
• The world has Corruption or is in Hardmode

Eater of Worlds will defend themself against nearby enemies by throwing Eater's Bite.

Trivia

• The quote "No, I am not Cthulhu's spine. Where did you even hear that?" is a reference to the Destroyer being a mechanical replacement for Cthulhu's spine, despite the Eater of Worlds not being associated with Cthulhu unlike the other bosses with mechanical variants.
• The quote "The housing association won't let me live in my own biome! How unfair is that?!" is a reference to the fact that no NPC can live in a Corruption biome.
