The Dissolving Deluge is a pre-Hardmode crafting material dropped by the Tidal Spirit. While in the inventory, the player's maximum life and mana will be decreased by 10 per Dissolving Deluge. This effect cannot reduce maximum life below 200 and maximum mana below 20.
While wearing the Worldly/Ultimate Polarizer, the Dissolving Deluge's sprite will flip upside down and its effect while in the inventory will change to increasing ranged damage by 3% per item, up to 12%.
