The Dissolving Aurora is a pre-Hardmode crafting material dropped by the Permafrost Spirit. While in the inventory, the player's movement speed will be decreased by 20% per Dissolving Aurora, up to 100%.
While wearing the Thermal/Ultimate Polarizer, the Dissolving Aurora's sprite will flip upside down and its effect while in the inventory will change to increasing movement speed by 5% per item, up to 20%.
