The Ripple Potion is a pre-Hardmode buff potion that grants the Ripple buff for 7 minutes and 5 seconds upon being consumed. The buff causes the player to periodically emit a short-ranged Ripple Wave around them that deals 20 damage, has 8 armor penetration, can pierce infinitely, and can go through tiles. The rate at which the Waves spawn will increase the lower the player's health is. Additionally, the buff increases the damage of all Ripple Waves by 2, including Waves from other sources, such as Heart of the Sea and its upgrades.

Notes
- The cooldown of Ripple Waves in frames is determined using the following formula: , where is a decimal representation of the player's current health percentage (1 at 100% of max health, 0.5 at 50%, etc.) and is the amount of Ripple effects currently active. Other effects that contribute to the cooldown reduction include Heart of the Sea, Prismarine Necklace, and Midnight Prism.
