Biome Constructs are a group of Pre-Hardmode and Hardmode Enemies that are each found in their respective biome.

There are currently nine different constructs:

• Earthen Construct that spawns in the Desert, Underground and Cavern.
• Nature Construct that spawns in the Forest and Jungle.
• Otherworldly Construct (1) that spawns by using an Electromagnetic Lure in the Planetarium.
• Otherworldly Construct (2) that spawns in the Planetarium by using a Planetary Analyzer outside of the Planetarium.
• Permafrost Construct that spawns in the Snow and Ice Biomes.
• Tidal Construct that spawns in the Ocean.

Hardmode exclusive constructs:

• Chaos Construct that spawns in The Hallow.
• Evil Construct that spawns in the Underground Crimson and Corruption.
• Inferno Construct that spawns in The Underworld.

After being killed, each Construct will spawn their respective Spirit.

Almost every Construct can be spawned by using an Electromagnetic Lure in their respective biomes.

Notes

• Being near a Construct gives the player the Intimidating Presence debuff that lowers enemy spawns and prevents other constructs from spawning.
• Constructs can be prevented from spawning by favoriting the Disruptive Electromagnetic Field Emitter in your inventory or by placing it on the ground.
• Constructs require certain conditions to be met to spawn.
  • For the Nature, Tidal, Earthen, and Permafrost Constructs you have to have at least 120 life.
  • For the Otherworldly Construct (1) you have to use an Electromagnetic Lure inside of the Planetarium.
  • For the Otherworldly Construct (2) you have to use the Planetary Analyzer outside of the Planetarium.
  • For the Chaos, Inferno, and Evil Constructs the world has to be in Hardmode.

Trivia

• Otherworldly Construct (2) is the only Construct to not inflict Intimidating Presence.
• Each Construct drops either a weapon or accessory for the melee class except the Otherworldly Constructs and Tidal Construct, which drop a ranged and mage weapon respectively.
• Each Construct's unique drop has a drop chance of 3.33% except the Otherworldly Constructs, which has a drop chance of 1%
  • Also Otherworldly Constructs are the only ones to have more than one unique drop, having three.

Tips

• Because a majority of Constructs can only spawn after having 120 health, it is recommended to use Life Crystals only after you are strong enough to fight the Constructs.
• To prevent Constructs from spawning favorite or place a Disruptive Electromagnetic Field Emitter.
  • Or if you want to spawn more of them use a Water Candle, Battle Potion and any other spawn increasing effects.
