The Earthen Construct is a Pre-Hardmode Enemy that spawns anywhere in the Desert, Underground and Cavern. It digs through the ground occasionally going up to the surface and shooting 3 rounds of 4 Earthen Shots that go up before swiftly shooting down and leaving a damaging aura on the ground.

Killing it will spawn an Earthen Spirit.

You can summon the Earthen construct by using an Electromagnetic Lure in either the desert, underground or cavern.

Notes

• Being near an Earthen construct gives the player the Intimidating Presence debuff that lowers enemy spawns and prevents other constructs from spawning.
• If you have the Disruptive Electromagnetic Field Emitter favorited in your inventory or placed on the ground, it will prevent the Earthen construct from spawning.
• The Earthen construct can only spawn once you have 120 health or more.
  • It can still be summoned with an Electromagnetic lure even if you have less than 120 health.

Tips

• Because the Earthen construct spends most of its time underground, it is recommended to use a weapon that goes through blocks.
