The Permafrost Construct is a Pre-Hardmode Enemy that spawns anywhere in the Snow and Ice biome. It bounces around on the ground with low gravity, having a damaging shield around it that spins around, and occasionally flying up and shooting out 8 fast, equally spaced Javelins.

Killing it will summon a Permafrost Spirit.

You can summon the Permafrost construct by using an Electromagnetic Lure in either the snow or ice biome.

Notes

• Being near a Permafrost construct gives the player the Intimidating Presence debuff that lowers enemy spawns and prevents other constructs from spawning.
• If you have the Disruptive Electromagnetic Field Emitter favorited in your inventory or placed on the ground, it will prevent the Permafrost construct from spawning.
• The Permafrost construct can only spawn once you have 120 health or more.
  • It can still be summoned with an Electromagnetic lure even if you have less than 120 health.
