Using the Mysterious Skull

The Mysterious Skull is a boss summon that is used to summon The Painbringer once the Moon Lord has been defeated. It can drop from any enemy, so long as the player has defeated the Moon Lord and has either ThePain or Clayman in their inventory. it can also drop from Clay and Pain Slimes post Moon Lord without needing the mask.

Notes

• Once The Painbringer has been defeated the drop chance is halved.
• The masks can also be in the player's Piggy Bank or equipped to get the drop.
• Attempting to use it in a world where the Moon Lord hasn't been defeated will do nothing.
• On multiplayer another tooltip line appears warning the player that the boss may experience bugs on multiplayer.
