The Mourning Star is one of many craftable Hardmode melee weapons made from Areus Shards. Unlike most areus weapons, this weapon does not inflict 
Electric Shock. It has a unique swing animation which allows it to swing in all directions, unlike typical broadswords.
Its best modifier is Godly.
