Nestling Staff is a Pre-Hardmode summon weapon dropped by Nova Stellar. When summoned and an enemy is targetable, it first attempts to fly above the enemy, while firing 3 Hardlight Feathers at them in an even spread. After it fires 10 spreads of Hardlight Feathers, it switches to melee mode, charging at the enemy, for 1.5 seconds.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Nestling Staff has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
