Guide:Gambler (Orchid Mod)
This is a general progression guide about the Gambler class added by the Orchid mod. If you don't like a weapon that's on here don't use it and if there is a weapon that's not on here and you prefer it, use it.
IN PROGRESS
this is just a starting structure for the guide because they are changing how the Gambler works.
this will go in depth when the rework comes out for now it will just tell you what are the best items to use for the stages of the game
progression
This will be a progression guide to help people is they have trouble with a stage of the game it will be a bit different then most other wikis guides
it will tell you what to do and what to get.
STARTING
- NPCs. A special NPC, Croupier, is a NPC that lets you buy accessories, weapon, and dice, all of which helps progress the Gambler class.
- Mining. Gold or Platinum are required for the outlaw armor set, so mining will be required for progression.
- Armor/Accessories. The first armor set is the outlaw set which requires gold/platinum bars, vulture talons and silk. Vulture Charm shoots feathers when you draw a new card with a base damage of 12
- Weapons. Some weapons are subjective to how the person plays for instance the glowing mushroom playing card does good damage but is hard to hit an enemy.
- Slimy Beginning's, Embers, Bubbles, Living Sap and Lesser Healing Potion are all obtainable at the start of the game. Lesser Healing Potions can be upgraded to Healing Potions
- Potions. The gambler has one major potion, the scavenger potion. However all basic potions are recommended i.e iron skin
Recommended Weapons. The Jungle, Shuffle, Embers and Enchantment cards perform well for this fight.
