Charred Mod v0.3.1 changes the Doom enemies, changes the enemy tag system a bit, changes Chemist weapons slightly, and adds a new treasure bag.

Changes

Weapons

  • All Chemist weapons can now destroy destructible enemy projectiles without needing to wait for debuffs to do so.
  • Fixed the cooldown texture not drawing properly on Chemist weapons
  • Fixed the Chemist Weapon text appearing next to the item name instead of below it
  • Purified Blade
    • No longer crafted, now drops from Purity Bags.
  • Purified Jet
    • No longer crafted, now drops from Purity Bags.
  • Purified Eye
    • No longer crafted, now drops from Purity Bags.
  • Purified Rod
    • No longer crafted, now drops from Purity Bags.
  • Fiery Flask
    • Fixed shatter sound playing on despawn instead of on shatter
  • Cold Breeze
    • Snowball now grows faster, has a faster velocity, and debuff duration scales at a faster rate with a higher cap

Accessories

  • Purified Gem
    • No longer crafted, now drops from Purity Bags in Expert mode.

Armor

Enemy Tags

  • Enemies with the Corrupting now takes 2x damage and lose 2x defense from Purifying.

Debuffs

  • For worm enemies, excluding Crawltipedes and Milkyway Weavers, debuffs now hit 25% slower per segment.
  • Strange Growth
    • Fixed debuff not dealing damage if the target had less than 400 health or 200 health if it's marked as inorganic.

Bosses

  • Queen SlimeQueen Slime
    • Treasure bags no longer drop Purified Chunks.
    • Now drops Purity Bags after all Mechanical bosses are defeated.

Enemies

  • Doom Slime
    • Health increased from 1000 / 2000 / 2500 to 10000 / 20000 / 25000.
    • Damage increased from 70 / 140 / 175 to 120 / 240 / 300.
    • Upwards velocity is increased based on the vertical distance between it and the player if they're more than 3 tiles apart.
  • Doom Illusion
    • Health increased from 1700 / 3400 / 4250 to 5000 / 10000 / 12500.
    • Damage increased from 75 / 150 / 187 to 100 / 200 / 250.
    • When hit, it stops moving for 0.1s and minions can target it for 0.25s.
  • Doom Orb
  • Doom Chaser
    • Health increased from 3000 / 6000 / 7500 to 20000 / 40000 / 50000.
    • Now spawns closer to the player.
    • Minions can no longer target it unless it's hunting in phase 2 or higher.
  • Doom Saucer
    • Health increased from 4000 / 8000 / 10000 to 250000 / 50000 / 62500.
    • Missile damage increased from 60 / 120 / 150 to 100 / 200 / 250.
    • Defense increased from 80 to 120.
