Charred Mod v0.3.2 adds some content, changes how Treasure Bags are tracked, changes various things, fixes several small issues.

A massive bug where any mod that adds NPCs with debuff immunities has been fixed, no promises if the mod changes any vanilla debuff immunities.

Changes

Items

  • The Expert-exclusive and Master-exclusive notes at the bottom of their tooltips now use the rainbow and fiery red text color respectively
  • All colored text (Crown of the Pig's revival text, all class-specific text, etc) now pulse
  • Knockback and use speed will now display their exact amounts next to them
  • Tool speed is now mentioned underneath use speed
  • All tiles and walls are placed 5x faster
  • All tools are used 2x faster

  • Doom Rifle
    • Damage reduced from 125 to 65
    • Projectiles shot now deal full damage instead of half damage
      • Overall a buff, this mainly fixes an issue that wasn't even supposed to be there in the first place

  • Lethal Jam
    • Now uses Slingshot in its recipes
  • Cold Breeze
    • Now inflicts Chilled for 2x as long as it inflicts Hypothermia or Frozen
    • Now uses Slingshot in its recipes
    • The player now faces the direction they attack in for the entire attack duration
  • Stinger Orb
    • Now uses Slingshot in its recipes
  • Fruitlobber
    • Now uses Slingshot in its recipes
  • Elemental Blast
    • Now inflicts Chilled for 10 seconds
    • Now inflicts Frozen for 2 seconds on direct hits
  • Healing Orb
    • Now uses Slingshot in its recipes
  • Chlorophyte Seed
    • Now uses Slingshot in its recipes

Debuffs

  • Frozen (Enemies Only)
    • Enemies now slide horizontally with deceleration after getting frozen
    • If enemies don't pass through tiles, they now actually fall down towards the ground upon being frozen
      • Otherwise, the slide applies to vertical velocity as well

Bosses

  • Boss Bag loot drops depend on the difficulty the boss was defeated in (which is based on the difficulty it spawned with)
    • The Boss Bag's name will have its color correspond with the difficulty it was completed in
    • Additionally, the highest difficulty the boss was defeated in will be mentioned at the bottom of the tooltip
    • Bags can't be opened if the boss has yet to be defeated and bags drop less loot if the boss was defeated with a difficulty below 1x in Journey Mode

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Phase Indicator support accidentally checking for Boss Checklist instead of Phase Indicator
