The Fractal Altar is a Pre-Hardmode furniture item. Upon the Rift Denizen's defeat, a rift made of Fractal Matter will form in the sky, always containing a Fractal Altar on top. Right-clicking it will send the player to the Fractal Dimension, and using it while in the Fractal Dimension will send them back to the overworld. It can be mined and moved anywhere in order to provide easier access to the Fractal Dimension, and more can be crafted using Fractal Matter as well.
