The Terra Scepter is a craftable Hardmode shamanic weapon. On use, it fires a terra bolt projectile that is sightly affected by gravity. After every 5 hits with the terra bolt, a terra orb will form and grow above the player's head. Following the terra orb growing to its maximum size after 25 hits with terra bolts—or alternatively the player running out of all active shamanic empowerments—the terra orb will fly out, homing in on the nearest enemy in order to deal damage based on the size of the orb. Additionally, if the terra orb was at its maximum size, it grants the player the Terra Blast buff, increasing their shamanic damage by 15%.

For each active shamanic empowerment the player has aside from Attack Empowerments, the weapon gains a small homing green projectile per use, up to a maximum of 4 projectiles.

Hitting enemies provides the Level IV Attack Empowerment to the player.

• The damage of the terra orb is calculated as (50 + (20 * (hit count) * (shamanic damage bonus)).
• Although the Terra Scepter is mechanically similar to other orb-based shaman weapons, it does not benefit from the Treasured Baubles accessory.
