The Spore Caller is a craftable Pre-Hardmode shamanic weapon. As with all shamanic weapons, the Spore Caller's attacks are fired from a catalyst, whose position and direction are based on the position of the cursor.
On use, the Spore Caller fires 2 jungle spore projectiles in a spread that linger in the air after traveling a short distance. The spores' damage increase the longer they linger, up to 45 more damage. The spores will additionally home in on nearby enemies and has a 10% chance to inflict the Poisoned debuff. If the spores last for 10 seconds, they will grant the Spore Empowerment buff upon damaging an enemy, which increases the damage of the following use of the Spore Caller by 300%, after which the buff is cleared.
For each active element the player has, the number of spores fired by the weapon increases by 1, up to a maximum of 7 spores.
Damaging non-Target Dummy enemies will grant the player the Air Element for a length of time.
Its best modifier is Ethereal.
