Bloat Baby

The Imperial Gelato is a pet summoning item that drops from Goozma in Revengeance Mode or Master Mode at a 25% chance. It summons a Bloat Baby with a crown to follow the player. If the player stands still for 10 seconds, the Bloat Baby starts following the player's cursor instead until they move again.

Trivia

• Following the Master Mode pet items for King and Queen Slime, the item is an ice cream. In particular, the item is based on ice cream colored with activated charcoal.
• The item tooltip was originally going to be "a dessert fit for a god", but was changed to "emperor" as to not conflict with the Divine Jello from Catalyst.
• The design for the Bloat Baby is based on the Octolings' Octopus form from the Splatoon series.
• The crown on the Bloat Baby is based on an older design of Goozma from Hunt of the Old God's development.
