The Golden Trashcan is a consumable item which permanently makes trashed items give 25% of their sell value in coins when trashed. Taking the item out of the trash requires you to pay it back.
This item has a secret alternative use, pressing Right Click while holding it will disable the effect. This is supposedly implemented in the case of the effect glitching out due to another mod messing with the Trash Slot.
Trivia
- With a high enough price on an item (over a few trillion platinum), this can be easily bugged out and grant infinite money. However if you have an item worth enough to bug it out you definitely have enough to pay for anything already anyways.
- There's an unused sprite for a Golden Trashcan icon, which would replace the regular trashcan icon in your inventory.
