Fractal Laser Traps are a type of trap found naturally in the Fractal Dimension. When activated via wire, they first emit a thin "warning shot" laser for about a second that deals no damage, before unleashing a full-sized beam that deals rapid damage to anything in its path. While it deals heavy damage, the warning shot means it's quite heavily telegraphed and so relatively easy to avoid.
