The Toxic Boulder is a Pre-Hardmode Enemy. It rolls towards the player attempting to hit them dealing high damage. Toxic Boulders are one of the best sources of Virulent Plating as they're easy to kill and drop a decent amount, however they can be hard to take on due to their quick mobility and Unicorn AI making them hard to dodge.

Notes

• In any mode above Classic, Toxic Boulders become a big threat early-game with doubled (in Expert), or tripled (in Master) damage and health.

Trivia

• The Toxic Boulder has no Bestiary entry.
• In Master, the Toxic Boulder deals 69 damage. Whether or not this is intentional, we've never been told, however it does tell us that the Toxic Boulder knows how to get its game on with the female Toxic Boulders if you get what I'm saying.
