The Crystal Gauntlets are a Post-Moon Lord magic weapon dropped by Goozma. When used the player rapidly shoots lightning that connects from them to their cursor. While holding the weapon, the player gains a charge bar. Hitting enemies causes the bar to increase by 0.05% for each time the weapon hits. If the player stops firing the weapon once it reaches 100% charge, they throw out a ball of lightning which lasts for 16.67 seconds and slowly chases enemies while firing lightning at them. Right clicking causes the player to clap, releasing a circular shockwave around them. When clapping, any active ball lightnings will instantly explode into a radial burst of homing lightning. Its best modifier is Mythical.

• The weapon and its flavor text are references to Emperor Palpatine from the Star Wars franchise.
• The weapon shares its palette with the Divine Gargooptuar's crystal shield, which is based on the Spectral enemy variants from the old-gen console versions of Terraria.
