Spawn

The Tsukumo Sisters have a 10% chance to spawn each night after any of the Mechanical bosses has been defeated. Alternatively, they can be summoned using a Ruined Tsukumogami Harp.

Behavior

Like most other Gensokyo bosses, the Tsukumo Sisters alternate between a move phase and an attack phase. However, which one of the two attacks during the attack phase alternates. They also each have their own, separate selection of four different attacks, which they will choose from depending on their remaining health.

The first of the Tsukumos whose health reaches the threshold of the fourth stage will become invulnerable until her sister also reaches this threshold. They will then both begin the fourth stage, where they will no longer alternate their attacks, but instead attack at the same time.

Benben

  • Vengeful Spirit "Great Vengeful Spirit of Taira": Spirals of stationary spirit flame projectiles appear around Benben. Benben then begins shooting spread shots of music notes at a player; when they begin slowing down, any nearby spirit flames begin accelerating towards that player.
  • Music Sign "Wicked Musical Score": Benben shoots strings of light which move towards her target from the side, then releases music notes and rest signs in random directions.
  • Harmony "Fiery Gagaku Performance": Benben shoots small spirit flame projectiles in all directions, as well was four large flames. The latter slow down after traveling a certain distance, then start shooting music notes in one of four patterns:
    • Koto: unaimed notes at rotating directions (yellow)
    • Harp: aimed spread of fast notes (purple)
    • Drum: three bursts slow notes in all directions (red)
    • Oboe: aimed column of notes that move in a wave pattern (blue)
  • Double Chant "Illusionary Joururi": Active during both move and attack phase. Benben shoots strings of light that approach the targeted player from below. In addition, she calls down stars from above.

Yatsuhashi

  • Echo Sign "Heian's Reverberation": Yatsuhashi first creates a box-shaped barrier around the battleground. She then starts shooting music notes in a spiraling pattern. Notes that hit the edges of the box are reflected back inwards.
  • Koto Music "Social Upheaval Requiem": Musical notes approach Yatsuhashi from behind her currently targeted player, then rotate around her for a bit. During this, she periodically shoots a spread shot of musical rest signs towards her target.
  • Koto Sign "Ame no Norigoto": Yatsuhashi shoots a continuous stream of arrow-shaped projectiles; she continuously turns this stream towards her currently targeted player. In addition, she shoots a scattering of musical notes in all directions.
  • Double Chant "Illusionary Joururi": Active during both move and attack phase. Yatsuhashi shoots musical notes in a spiraling pattern. In addition, she calls down stars from above.
