The Magical Koto is a Hardmode magic weapon. It shoots a spread of three musical notes strings that will bounce off tiles, with the speed of the note (and the pitch of the weapon's use sound) depending on the distance to the cursor.

The alternate fire mode makes the koto play on its own for 6 seconds. During this time, it will shoot notes in a spiraling pattern. The cooldown of this attack is 18 seconds, and it has a base mana cost of 120.
