Corrupted Spirit

The Corrupted Rod is a pre-Hardmode summon weapon that is dropped from the Corrupted Seeker with a 25% / 50% chance. When used, it summons a Corrupted Spirit minion. The Corrupted Spirit rapidly dashes towards enemies, or to its idle position above the player if no enemies are nearby. It can only move while dashing and inflicts the Corrupting debuff.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Corrupted Rod has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
