The Holy Heart is a Hardmode accessory with a 10*1/10 (10%) / 12.5*1/8 (12.5%) chance to be dropped by Wall of Flesh. It gives +4% damage and critical strike buffs and a chance to grant the player a sizable endurance buff upon taking damage. Its stat boosts are further increased to +8% if the player is currently high enough into the Sky. It is the angelic counterpart to the Devil's Pendant.

Notes

• The endurance effect provided by Holy Heart is 15% or 25% if in the Sky. It has a 12.5% chance of triggering when taking a hit.
  • When in Hell, it also grants a passive +10 defense and an additional +20 maximum HP.
• While 4% increase is rather low, the secondary effects give the Holy Heart viability for quite some time.

Trivia

• This item's effects are loosely based on the Holy Mantle item from The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. In that game, the Holy Mantle is an angel item that prevents the first hit of damage in each room.
  • The sprite, furthermore, is very similar to the Soul Locket from the same game, although this item was added before that one.
