The Devil's Pendant is a Hardmode accessory with a 1/10 (10%) / 1/8 (12.5%) chance to be dropped by Wall of Flesh. It gives +4% damage and critical strike buffs and a chance to increase life regeneration when taking damage. Its stat boosts are further increased to +8% if the player is currently in the Underworld. It has a chance to grant the player a sizable regeneration buff upon taking damage. It is the demonic counterpart to the Holy Heart.

Notes

• The regeneration effect given by Devil's Wrath is 8 HP per second, slightly higher than the maximum rate of Crimson armor. It has a 12.5% chance of triggering when taking a hit.
  • When in Hell, it also grants a passive +2 HP/s and an additional +20 maximum HP.
• While 4% increase is rather low, the secondary effects give the Devil's Pendant viability for quite some time.

Trivia

• This item's sprite and effects are loosely based on the Pentagram item from The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. In that game, the Pentagram is a devil item that increases damage by +1 and increases devil deal chance by 12.5% (this has since been changed to 10%), the same chance as Devil's Pendant triggering.
