Trivia

• Ice Missiles debuted in Metroid Fusion as an upgrade to Super Missiles, mostly replacing the Ice Beam as Samus was unable to safely use the latter due to the vulnerability to low temperatures granted by her Metroid DNA. In-universe, however, Samus would first use Ice Missiles in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, where it instead was an upgrade to her standard missiles.
