The Diffusion Missile is an addon for the Missile Launcher. It goes in the Charge slot. When equipped, the Missile Launcher's charge attack, on impact, will create 4 diffusion flares which spiral outwards from the point of impact. Charge shots cost 5 Missiles.

The Diffusion Missile has 4 different types of flares depending on what Missiles are used in the Primary Slot. When no mMssiles are equipped or while using Super Missiles, 4 red flares are created which deal damage. When using Ice Missiles or Super Ice Missiles, 4 blue flares are created which deal damage and instantly freeze enemies. When using Stardust Missiles, 6 blue flares are created which deal damage and instantly freeze enemies. When using Nebula Missiles, 5 Nebula energy flares are created along with a vortex between them, both dealing damage.
